Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

• This offer is available to small businesses only - less than 100 employees and less than £5m turnover.
• Applicants must be the owner or authorised representative of the business.
• One free website per business. Previous ZDT clients are not eligible.
• ZDT reserves the right to decline applications at our discretion.

2. What's Included

• Design and development of a 5-page website (Home, About, Services, Portfolio/Gallery, Contact).
• Mobile-responsive design optimised for all devices.
• Basic SEO setup including meta titles and descriptions.
• Contact form integration.
• Domain name registration .co.uk or .com and annual renewal (if required)
• SSL certificate setup.
• Up to 2 rounds of revisions on the initial design.
• One email account (if required).

3. What's Not Included

• Web hosting £27.99pcm.
• E-commerce or CMS functionality, booking systems, or membership areas.
• Content writing or professional photography.
• Additional pages beyond the included 5 pages (available at £50/page).

4. Client Responsibilities

• Provide all required content (text, images, logos) within 7 days of our request.
• Respond to communications within 3 business days to avoid project delays.
• Provide timely feedback during the design and revision process.
• Ensure all provided content is owned by you or properly licensed.
• Hosting must be maintained throughout the duration of the website's use. Missing payments may result in the suspension or termination of hosting services and the loss of website availability.

5. In Exchange For This Free Service

• You grant ZDT permission to feature your website in our portfolio and marketing materials.

6. Timeline & Delivery

• Projects are typically completed within 2 weeks of receiving all required content.
• Delays in receiving content or feedback may extend the timeline.
• Projects inactive for more than 30 days may be cancelled.

7. Ownership & Rights

• You own full rights to your domain name and all content (text, images, logos) provided by you.
• The website design, codebase, and infrastructure are delivered as a managed service hosted on ZDT's servers. Ownership of the website files transfers to you only upon payment of the applicable export fee (see section 9).
• ZDT retains the right to display the work in our portfolio indefinitely.
• Domain name can be transferred to another registrar if desired, for which a transfer fee of £25 will apply.

8. Limitation of Liability

This free website service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ZDT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the website. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of services provided (£0 for this free offer).

9. Hosting Term & Cancellation

• Website hosting can be cancelled at any time with 30 days notice.
• The monthly hosting plan is £27.99/month, billed monthly and may be cancelled with 30 days' notice.
• On cancellation, the website will be taken offline. Your domain name remains yours and can be pointed elsewhere at any time.
• If you wish to take a copy of the website files upon or after cancellation, a one-off export fee of £499 applies.
• ZDT reserves the right to terminate the service immediately for non-payment or breach of these terms, without refund of any fees already paid.

10. Limitation of Liability

This free website service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ZDT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the website. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of services provided (£0 for this free offer).
