Optional extras like additional pages, e-commerce features, or ongoing maintenance can be added at our standard rates, but there's no obligation to purchase anything beyond the free 5-page website.

Our ZDT brand is new (although we've been building websites for other brands for many years) and we're doing this to build our portfolio, gain testimonials, recommendations and create case studies to showcase our work. We provide continuous website support all the time you are hosted with us. This includes security updates, performance monitoring, and minor content changes to ensure your website remains up-to-date and secure.

All changes to the website after completion can be made by us at your request. We offer ongoing maintenance and update services at competitive rates to keep your website fresh and up-to-date. Plus, we offer an annual checkup service where we can review your website, update any necessary components, and ensure everything is running smoothly. We aim to make any small changes for free under the terms of our hosting and maintenance agreement. Alternatively, more extensive changes can be made at any time by us at your request for a small fee.

Please read the following terms carefully before applying.
1. Eligibility
- This offer is available to small businesses only - less than 100 employees and less than £5m turnover.
- Applicants must be the owner or authorised representative of the business.
- One free website per business. Previous ZDT clients are not eligible.
- ZDT reserves the right to decline applications at our discretion.
2. What's Included
- Design and development of a 5-page website (Home, About, Services, Portfolio/Gallery, Contact).
- Mobile-responsive design optimised for all devices.
- Basic SEO setup including meta titles and descriptions.
- Contact form integration.
- Domain name registration .co.uk or .com and annual renewal (if required)
- SSL certificate setup.
- Up to 2 rounds of revisions on the initial design.
- One email account (if required).
3. What's Not Included
- Web hosting £30pcm.
- E-commerce or CMS functionality, booking systems, or membership areas.
- Content writing or professional photography.
- Ongoing maintenance beyond the 30-day support period.
- Additional pages beyond the included 5 pages (available at £75/page).
4. Client Responsibilities
- Provide all required content (text, images, logos) within 7 days of our request.
- Respond to communications within 3 business days to avoid project delays.
- Provide timely feedback during the design and revision process.
- Ensure all provided content is owned by you or properly licensed.
- Hosting must be maintained throughout the duration of the website's use. Missing payments may result in the suspension or termination of hosting services and the loss of website availability.
5. In Exchange For This Free Service
- You agree to provide a written testimonial upon project completion.
- You grant ZDT permission to feature your website in our portfolio and marketing materials.
- You agree to a brief case study interview (15-20 minutes, optional but appreciated).
6. Timeline & Delivery
- Projects are typically completed within 2 weeks of receiving all required content.
- Delays in receiving content or feedback may extend the timeline.
- Projects inactive for more than 30 days may be cancelled.
7. Ownership & Rights
- Upon completion, you own full rights to your domain, website and its content.
- ZDT retains the right to display the work in our portfolio indefinitely.
- Website cannot be transferred to another host due to secure hosting being managed by ZDT.
- Domain name can be transferred to another registrar if desired, for which a transfer fee of £25 will apply.
8. Limitation of Liability
This free website service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ZDT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the website. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of services provided (£0 for this free offer).
